Frequently Asked Questions

Do You Accept Insurance?

Quite often we are asked if we "accept insurance?"

First, let's clarify a few things:

The truth is that your insurance won't pay for what we do.  The correct question is "Will my insurance cover your services?"

Insurance carriers only cover what they deem “medically necessary”.

Since we do not practice "medical medicine," nor diagnose or treat, and are primarily performing the services for the convenience of you, the patient, to know the true causes; insurance will not cover our services.

We agree with you that our services should be covered and we do not like this any more than you do.  But, we are not in any position to argue with the rules of the insurance carrier.

What we can do is keep our fees affordable and help people restore their health instead of sending them on a merry go round of chasing symptoms and diseases.

That being said:

The only insurance that we are presently taking is Aetna.  If you have Aetna, [Aetna primary plans only – NO Medicare]

Please contact your provider and ask the following questions:

  • Do you have Nutrition coverage?
  • If so, how many visits are allowed by your plan?
  • Do you have a co-pay?
  • Is there a deductible to be met? and has it been met?
  • If deductible has not been met, then our office fees are the patient’s responsibility, and payment is due at time of visit, then we file those claims which would go towards your deductible.

Please note, that Aetna plans, if applicable only cover nutrition office visits only.  They do not cover any of our Programs, Services or Nutritional Supplements.
